Details:     Vertical Ice Climbing Enthusiasts (VICE) and Tufts Mountain Club (TMC) are pleased to present the third annual (V)ICE FEST, the premier ice climbing festival of Franconia Notch. This event will be held at the Tufts Loj in North Woodstock, NH on January 27-29.

Back by popular demand! A weekend of slideshows, movies, guest speakers, gear demos, and outdoor adventures all focused on ice climbing and winter mountaineering. The purpose of (V)ICE FEST is to establish a stronger climbing community by networking amongst college students, alumni, and friends. We hope to work together to improve our climbing techniques, expand our skill sets, and share epic stories. We will provide all attendees with meals, gear rentals, and a place to stay.

We are proud to announce this year's guest speaker is Kevin Mahoney. Kevin guided for several schools including NOLS before he decided to start his own business, Mahoney Alpine Adventures. Kevin crushes local ice daggers and runs up mountains abroad.

Guided Ice Climbing with Kevin: Want to climb with a AMGA-certified hard man? Kevin has offered to take up to 12 people climbing for $40 each (includes rental gear). Due to high demand, first come first serve. Sign Up Here!

Please Note:     (V)ICE FEST is an informally organized event for people who enjoy climbing together. VICE and TMC members take no responsibility for ensuring the safety of (V)ICE FEST participants.

(V)ICE FEST 2011 attendees are joined by speaker Bayard Russell at the Tufts Loj in North Woodstock, NH
