VICE has recruited a special team to enter the 10th annual Washington Inferno! This unique pentathlon is coordinated by the Friends of Tuckerman Ravine, a non-profit organization that preserves and protects the fragile alpine slopes of Mt. Washington. We are still looking for sponsorship to subsidize the $675 entry fee. Any sponsors who support our team will receive recognition on the race website and will be qualified for a tax deductible donation to the Friends of Tuckerman Ravine. VICE will also promote sponsors by posting logos and links on this website and wearing endorsed gear. Email jlongcor@gmail.com to sponsor our team!

The racers selected for this competitive relay and their events are:

8.3 mile run: Amy Hopkins 6 mile kayak: Ethan Senterfitt
Amy is a serial marathon runner and a veteran of VICE events like Ragnar, PRRR, and the Pittsfield Snowshoe race. She dominates endurance events. Ethan is a professional river guide and an experienced sailor. He excels at water sports and thrives in the cold deluges of springtime white water.

1 mile ski: Stephen Normandin

Steve is a freestyle skiier and professional coach at Mt Sunapee. Tuckerman Ravine and Steve are boys. They make magic together. Steve is not stopping at the finish line. Meet him at the visitors center.
